Who are the Global Migrants?

Global Migrants for Climate Action intends to contribute to a more concrete understanding of the practical consequences climate change already has had on the world. Immigrants to western nations and their families from various countries in Africa, Asia and South America often have experiences that can give a special motivation to circulate information both ways - concrete knowledge and experience of the consequences of climate change.

The organization cooperates with other immigrant organizations, unions, environmental organizations and others in Norway and internationally, in order support all demands for stronger reduction of emissions and for climate justice.

There is already abundant documentation on how the poorest countries are bearing the most dramatic effects of the first stage of climate change.

Global Migrants for Climate Action is not linked to any particular faith or political party.
